Played a key role developing and enhancing React interfaces for Apple’s internal ETL platform, working across UI and backend layers for a system used by over 5,000 employees.
Worked closely with UX designers on high-visibility application entry points, improving navigation and feature discoverability across the platform.
Upgraded the entire application to the latest React version and introduced new UI components and rendering optimizations, improving front-end performance by 50%.
Built and optimized RESTful backend services in Java, streaming data between systems with Apache Kafka and using parallel API execution to cut backend response times by 20% under sustained production load.
Developed and maintained a separate Node.js service powering an internal admin dashboard for the data engineering team, run alongside the core Java backend.
Deployed and managed containerized services on Kubernetes alongside AWS (S3, Lambda, ECS, RDS), configuring auto-scaling and CloudWatch monitoring with automated CI/CD deployments to improve platform reliability.
Wrote Python-based internal tooling and CLI utilities to automate environment setup, log parsing, and data validation, plus unit and integration tests with JUnit to keep services reliable.
